Klub Terkaya Di Dunia 2013 – Majalah bisnis dunia Forbes baru saja merilis daftar klub sepakbola terkaya di dunia edisi terbaru. Yang menarik ada diperingkat 1 dan 2 dimana untuk pertama kalinya kekayaan Manchester United dikalahkan oleh raksasa Spanyol Real Madrid. Sementara itu diposisi klub terkaya didunia ketiga diisi oleh Fc Barcelona.
Lanjut, Posisi keempat ditempati klub ‘paling irit’ di Liga Primer Inggris, Arsenal, sementara Bayern Munchen diposisi 5 besar..
Menurut majalah bisnis yang telah beredar sejak 1917 itu, Real Madrid menjadi franchise olahraga paling berharga dengan nilai 2,15 miliar Pound atau sekitar 31,8 triliun Rupiah. MU di tempat kedua dengan 2,07 miliar Pound atau sekitar 30 triliun Rupiah.
“Ini adalah pertamakalinya sejak Forbes mulai mengkalkulasi nilai tim sepak bola pada 2004, dimana Manchester United tidak berada di nomor satu,” demikian pernyataan dari Forbes.
Sukses finansial Madrid di tengah krisis ekonomi yang melanda Spanyol, menurut Forbes, tak terlepas dari kehadiran dua figur populer di dunia sepak bola. Yakni sang superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, dan pelatih fenomenal, Jose Mourinho. Presiden Madrid, Florentino Perez, adalah figur penting di balik kemajuan ekonomi Madrid.
Lebih lanjut, 20 tim sepak bola terkaya di dunia memiliki nilai rata-rata 634 juta Pound (9,4 triliun Rupiah) atau naik 26 persen dari tahun lalu.
Yang dinilai oleh Forbes adalah nilai perusahaan (modal dan hutang) yang berdasarkan sejumlah pemasukan tim dari televisi, penjualan tiket premium, media, hak citra, merchandise dan konsesi.
