Catatan lainnya, bomber asal Polandia itu juga menjadi pemain pertama yang mencetak empat gol dalam satu pertandingan ke gawang Madrid sepanjang sejarah kompetisi di level Eropa.
Jose Mourinho menyebut bahwa timnya tahu jika Lewandowski sebagus itu. Oleh karenanya, dia sudah menyiapkan agenda khusus untuk sang bomber.
Masalahnya, Madrid terbukti gagal melakukannya dan Mourinho tidak malu mengakui bahwa dia kecewa karenanya.
“Kami tahu semuanya soal Lewandowski. Jadi, kami kecewa karena gol-golnya.”
Menurut Klopp, torehan tersebut akan terus dikenang Dortmund. Gol-gol dari Lewandowski bahkan ia jamin akan diputar di museum klub, Borusseum.
“(Penampilan) Ini sudah pasti akan dicatat dalam sejarah. Selalu ada film yang sama di Borusseum. Anda akan segera melihat empat gol Lewa di sana,” katanya di Reuters.
“Itu adalah pertandingan tidak biasa dari tim saya dan gol ketiga tadi benar-benar bernilai setiap sennya dari apa yang dibayarkan stasiun televisi penayang (pertandingan),” lanjut Klopp girang.
