Razia Sepeda Motor Pelajar Di Mulawarman Banjarmasin – Puluhan pelajar terjaring dalam razia kendaraan bermotor di kawasan pelajar yang terletak di jalan Mulawarman Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan. Razia kendaraan bermotor khusus para pelajar itu di lakukan pada Senin 16 september 2013 sekitar pukul 13.00 wita hingga pukul 15.00 wita
Kepala Satuan Lalu Lintas Polresta Banjarmasin, Kompol Toton P Wardhana melalui Wakil Kepala Satuan Lalu Lintas, AKP Berlian Hartono di Banjarmasin, Senin mengatakan, razia ini dimaksudkan untuk menertibkan pelajar yang menggunakan kendaraan bermotor.
Dikatakan, dalam razia tersebut ada sekitar 21 pelajar yang kedapatan menggunakan kendaraan bermotor jenis roda dua. Saat diamankan pelajar tersebut belum memenuhi syarat untuk menggunakan kendaraan bermotor.
Bukan itu saja, saat dilakukan pemeriksaan, sebagian pelajar banyak yang tidak membawa surat kendaraan bermotor yang digunakan seperti Surat Tanda Nomor Kendaraan (STNK).
“Pelajar yang dikenakan sanksi tilang, mereka yang tidak menggunakan helm, fisik kendaraan tidak sesuai standarnya serta tidak membawa surat menyurat sepeda motor yang pada saat itu digunakan dalam berkendara,” terang usai memimpin razia tersebut.
Berlian mengatakan, ada 12 kendaraan bermotor jenis roda dua milik pelajar yang terpaksa diberikan sanksi tilang, dan sembilan pelajar yang menggunakan sepeda motor yang hanya diberikan teguran.
Razia seperti ini akan terus dilakukan secara rutin dengan tujuan untuk antisipasi kecelakaan dan pelanggaran lalu lintas yang kebanyakan didominasi oleh para pelajar termasuk balapan liar.
“Untuk kedepannya kita tidak ada lagi memberikan teguran, apabila pelajar SMP terlihat menggunakan kendaraan bermotor maka langsung kita tilang karena menurut aturan mereka belum berhak menggunakan kendaraan tersebut,” kata dia. (republika)
